MINNEAPOLIS, MN, AUGUST 26, 2010 – SALO, Oberon, NumberWorks were recently named one of the “Best Places to Work” in the Twin Cities by the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal.
A winner in the medium-sized category, SALO, Oberon, NumberWorks joins the ranks of 55 other leading companies in the Twin Cities. Ranked at #9, this is the third time the firm has been named a “Best Place to Work” by the Business Journal.
The prestigious award recognizes Twin Cities companies that provide an outstanding work environment for their workers. Each year, the Business Journal conducts an online employee survey to determine the Twin Cities’ “Best Places to Work.” To qualify, participants must have an office in the Twin Cities 13-county metro area with 10 employees or more. Minnesota-based companies with offices outside the metro, but with more than 1,000 employees in the state, were also eligible.
More than 200 companies were nominated for the award; honorees were chosen by tabulating the results of employee surveys that scored their companies on criteria such as: work environment, embracing innovations/new ideas, people practices, personal growth and development, people in the organization, and how things work day-to-day.
