NUMBERWORKS AND ITS AFFILIATES NAMED A “BEST PLACE TO WORK” BY THE MINNEAPOLIS / ST. PAUL BUSINESS JOURNAL

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, AUGUST 27, 2009 – NumberWorks and its affiliates SALO and Oberon were recently named one of the “Best Places to Work” in the Twin Cities by the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal.

A winner in the medium-sized category, NumberWorks joins the ranks of 45 other leading companies in the Twin Cities. Ranked at #5, this is the second time that the firm has been named a “Best Place to Work” by the Business Journal.

The prestigious award recognizes Twin Cities companies that provide an outstanding work environment for their workers. A professional staffing solutions firm, NumberWorks was honored for going above and beyond the everyday when it comes to offering benefits and building a positive culture for employees.

Each year, the Business Journal conducts an online employee survey to determine the Twin Cities’ “Best Places to Work.” To qualify, participants must have an office in the Twin Cities 11-county metro area with 10 employees or more. Minnesota-based companies with offices outside the metro, but with more than 1,000 employees in the state, also were eligible.

More than 180 companies were nominated for the award; honorees were chosen by tabulating the results of employee surveys that scored their companies on criteria such as: work environment, people practices, personal growth and development opportunities, day-to-day operations, and implementation of innovation and new ideas. The complete list, along with profiles, employee quotes and interviews with executives, is featured in the August 28 issue of the Business Journal.
